In 1990 I founded the first travel agency in "Lotto Beckers" Straße des Friedens 24 in Ilmenau. With my team we sold the first bus trips to Austria and Paris as well as the first air trips to Mallorca, partly for GDR marks.

In 1994, I and my team opened a travel agency in the City Kaufhaus in Ilmenau. In 1996 the move to the neighboring building on Friedrich-Hofmann-Str. 8 and the name change as HOLIDAY LAND.

In 1998 I celebrated my next milestone by founding a travel agency in the Mühltor Center Ilmenau in order to complete Kaufland's range of travel offers.

In 2003, the City travel agency moved to the premises of the former Fleischer bookstore and was renamed CityReiseCenter TUI Travel Star.

In 2008, the travel agency in the Mühltor Center was renamed Sonnenklar.TV in order to be able to offer television travel offers locally.

On January 1st, 2013, the HolidayLand Ilmenau and the City Reise Center Ilmenau were merged. In the newly designed office at Straße des Friedens 26, we can now advise you in all areas of tourism with expertise and experience.

I am a travel consultant with a passion for traveling around the world.

Planning and booking trips for you, identifying your wishes and making corresponding offers Offering something for you is my joy in this job and also my calling.

I was able to accompany youth groups in the GDR and Eastern European countries as a tour guide at a young age. After my training as a tourism specialist in 1990, I was able to run a travel agency independently with my partner and train apprentices for many years.

Through many seminars and vacation trips around the world and a 4-year tour guide on various cruise ships, I have already traveled to all continents . I try to implement this knowledge and experience in the best possible way.
